My brain is probably going to explode from all the learning I’m doing this week, so I’m keeping my post light. I’m starting up classes for my web design certificate for the semester this week, and I’ll be attending Albuquerque’s WordCamp. I’m excited, but I might die from all the new knowledge and inevitable new goals and ambitions I am likely to have. Also I’m collaborating with a fantastically talented artist, Xindi Yan, on a new logo for the website! I can’t wait to unveil it and show you!

I was less than thrilled with my initial photography for the Desert Scavenger Hat, so I’ve updated it! Check it out. I’ve also added the pattern to Ravelry, so don’t forget to add your projects!

What’s trending for me in pop culture:

The Bachelor: Yes, I’m watching it. Due to my complete indifference towards Arie, I’m not sure if I even like it anymore. He better wear a gorgeous sweater soon so that I can actually get excited for this show again.

Younger: I binge watched all four seasons on Hulu. As long as you completely suspend your disbelief, and just focus on how utterly charming Sutton Foster is, this show is fantastic.

Black Panther sold more tickets in it’s first 24 hours than any other Marvel movie. Representation matters!

The Good Place: Best show on TV right now! Eirik and I basically just yell about how forking good it is after every episode.

What’s trending for me in the fiber world:

I’m currently obssessed with the Sleet Hat from Allison O’Mahony. She is one of my favorite designers, and she is also featured in one of Knit’s All Folks! most popular posts Sarah Jessica Parker Wins at Wearing a Chunky Knit Hat.

Vogue Knitting Live Envy. When I see all the fabulous photos on Instagram I’m so deeply jealous.

BrownGrylKnits has the cutest damn logo:

Until next week friends!
