Happy Mother’s Day! Celebrate by Knitting Louise-Style!

I want to take a moment and acknowledge all the amazing moms out there. Particularly, my mom, because clearly she’s the best. She’s taken care of me, my husband, and even my dogs in the most caring and wonderful way I could ever ask for. She also makes delicious tortillas.

It’s obvious (to any knitter) that I love her because that is fingering weight stockinette stitch. I will probably never be doing that again. But it was a great way to teach myself lace knitting. The pattern is the Constantinople Shawl by Grace Akhrem.
